Fang Qin, born in October 1969, from Wuhan, Hubei Province, doctor of history, researcher. Bachelor of Archaeology from Peking University, Doctor of History from Wuhan University, part-time doctoral tutor of Wuhan University. He is currently the director of the Hubei Provincial Museum and the director of the Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.
Graduated from Peking University in 1991. In 2018, he graduated from Wuhan University with a Ph.D.
In May 2013, he served as director of Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and director of Hubei Provincial Museum.
He presided over the excavation of the Guojiamiao cemetery and the Sujialong cemetery, and obtained the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country in 2015 and the six new archaeological discoveries in the country in 2017 respectively.
He is the author of "History and Culture of Zeng State - From "Left and Right Civil and Military" to "Left and Right Chu King", and constructs the little-known history of Zeng State based on archaeological data.
