Introduction to Huang Hailin(bixiao)Master performer

At the age of 17, Huang Hailin joined the Song and Dance Troupe of Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County and became a dancer. There, she met Huang Zhaoan, a national-level inheritor of bamboo and wood instrumental music of the Li nationality. It was precisely because of the influence of this instrumental master that Huang Hailin decided to give up dancing and transfer to the nose flute without any musical instrument foundation.

Learning the nose flute also opened the door to a new world for Huang Hailin's life. In 2009, Huang Hailin, who had never been abroad, followed the song and dance troupe to perform in Russia. With the nose flute in her hand, Huang Hailin went from a small mountain village to the international stage. The audience was mesmerized by it, and she was also filled with emotion.

In 2016, Huang Hailin registered and established the "Sound of Wuzhi Mountain", which specializes in performing traditional bamboo and wood instruments of the Li nationality, such as tongshao, burning bar, nose flute, mouth bow, worship, lilie, ding dong and dumu drum.

On December 6, 2019, the large-scale national concert "Legend of New Hainan" by the Central Chinese Orchestra was held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. Huang Hailin was also invited to perform. She performed on the same stage with many well-known musicians, showing the unique national cultural charm of Hainan.
