Lei Ying is of Zhuang nationality in Guangxi. Soloist of the Central National Song and Dance Troupe; member of the Chinese National Orchestra Association; Master of Arts graduate student of the PLA Academy of Arts; Honorary Vice President of the Guangxi Solo and Guqin Professional Committee. Member of Girls' Twelve Band (established in 2001 - 2010).
Lei Ying was born in Guangxi. At the age of 12, she was admitted to the erhu major of the Middle School Affiliated to Guangxi Art Institute. She studied under Fu Shangui, Mo Changchun and Lin Zhantao successively.
At the age of 18, he was admitted to the erhu major of the Music Department of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, under the tutelage of Professor Qiu Jiang. After graduation, he was admitted to the Central National Song and Dance Troupe with excellent results.
In 2010, he was admitted to the PLA Academy of Arts as a Master of Arts graduate student, under the tutelage of Professor Qiu Jiang. Lei Ying is talented and intelligent, has strong perception, and has good artistic expression and stage control ability. Having lived in a minority area since she was a child, she likes music and has a soft spot for national instrumental music.
In addition to specializing in erhu, Lei Ying has also studied the solo piano for more than ten years under the tutelage of Chinese solo piano educator and performer Mr. Li Ping. 's performance.
In June 2001, the Women's Twelve Band was established, and she was the first to be admitted. Lei Ying has traveled all over the world, participated in nearly 1,000 performances, and visited dozens of countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Europe, and America for many times. He has produced more than ten music albums and released them at home and abroad. He has interviewed and recorded programs on Japanese NHK TV, CCTV, Beijing TV, Shanghai TV, Phoenix TV Chinese, Travel TV and many other TV stations.
In the Spring Festival of 2002, he accompanied the China Red Star Chinese Orchestra to the Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria to participate in the New Year's concert and performed as a soloist.
In 2010, he participated in the CCTV Gala, and the solo stringed piano first appeared on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala. In 2013, in the Great Hall of the People, he performed the classic solo string "Wind Blows Across the Bridge" for President Xi Jinping and Vietnamese President Truong Tan Chong, which was well received.
