Lu Yiwen was enlightened by teacher Wang Xiangyang to learn the piano since childhood. In 2000, he was admitted to the primary school attached to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of teacher Liu Jie.
In 2009, he was admitted to the Department of Folk Music of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music for the undergraduate degree, under the tutelage of Professor Chen Chunyuan. He graduated as a graduate student in 2016 and stayed at the school to teach. During his studies, he also received the careful guidance of Erhu master Min Huifen for a long time.
In recent years, Lu Yiwen has performed as a soloist with China Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liège Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel Modern Orchestra, Taiwan Guangyi Philharmonic Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, Guiyang Symphony Orchestra, Hebei Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Taipei Chinese Orchestra, Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, Jiangsu Chinese Orchestra, Jilin Chinese Orchestra and other domestic and foreign orchestras .
He has visited Antarctic Great Wall Station, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Israel, Singapore, Japan, Egypt, Taiwan and Hong Kong for exchange and performance. In 2016, he cooperated with President Xi Jinping to visit Egypt and participated in the opening ceremony of the "2016 China-Egypt Cultural Year" jointly held by China and Egypt. In 2020, he successfully held more than ten solo tour solo concerts across the country.
