Ma Shenglong (1934.1.6~2003.9.20) was from Shanghai. The first-level permanent conductor and folk musician of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra. An older generation of folk musicians who combine playing, composing and conducting.
Ma Shenglong joined the Shanghai Philharmonic Folk Orchestra in 1952 and was the first-generation pipa player in New China. The recorded albums such as "Spring River, Flowers and Moon Night" and "Happy Days" have been widely praised. Since the 1960s, he has been engaged in conducting and composing, and has created a number of influential folk music works such as "Donghai Fisherman's Song" (cooperation with Gu Guanren), "Man Jiang Hong", "Hu Jia Eighteen Beats" and other influential folk music works, which are well-known at home and abroad, and are still popular overseas The repertoire of the Chinese (Chinese) Orchestra. He has cooperated with flute player Lu Chunling, yangqin player Zhou Hui and erhu player Zhou Hao for many years, and is known as the "Four Famous Sizhu Masters in Jiangnan". In more than 40 years of artistic career, he has accumulated rich experience and formed his own unique conducting style. For example, the large-scale national orchestral music concerts "Fisher's Song of the East China Sea" and "The Red River", as well as "Yu Xunfa Dizi Solo" album, "Ren Tongxiang Suona Solo" album, etc., are all conducted by him. It has won many awards from the Ministry of Culture and related departments.
