Qiao Hongchen is a Chinese bamboo flute player, composer, conductor and educator. The apprentice of the performer Liu Guanyue.
Born in Tianjin in 1943, he is a folk music conductor and flute soloist of the Tianjin Song and Dance Theater. After work, he studied composition and conducting in Tianjin Conservatory of Music, which laid a good foundation for his future career in creative and conducting.
