Introduction to Ren Jie(guzheng)Master performer

Ren Jie, a native of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a young guzheng player, the winner of the highest award of the Chinese government and the double gold award of the highest award of Chinese music, and an in-service teacher of Nanjing Arts Institute.

He is the first "Wenhua and Golden Bell Double Champion" in the history of guzheng, and the first outstanding young guzheng performer who has the highest award in Chinese music, the highest award in the government and an international gold award. Under the tutelage of Professor Yan Aihua, a guzheng educator, and received the teachings of Mr. Wang Zhongshan, a famous guzheng master.

He studied zheng at the age of 6 and was admitted to the Nanjing Xiaohonghua Art Troupe at the age of 8 as a guzheng solo performer. In 1994, he was admitted to the Nanjing University of the Arts, and in 2001, he was admitted to the Nanyi Conservatory of Music for undergraduate studies. Ren Jie has won many awards in national competitions, especially in January 2005, won two awards: the highest award of the Ministry of Culture and the government "Wenhua Art School Award" Guzheng Youth Group Gold Award; China's highest music award "Golden Bell Award" "Gold Medal in Guzheng Group. Become the "double champion" with the highest gold content in Chinese guzheng.

In 2005, Ren Jie became the double champion of the Chinese Ministry of Culture's "Wenhua Art Academy Award" and the Chinese Music "Golden Bell Award", shocking the Chinese music scene.

In 2006, he won the "International Art Award" Instrumental Soloist Gold Award at the North Korea International Arts Festival. In 2007, Ren Jie was elected as the 9th Nanjing "Top Ten Outstanding Youth" with the highest votes.

In 2013, Ren Jie became the first and only musician to win the Grand Slam of the Golden Bell. The Moyu Guzheng Group of Nanjing University of the Arts under her guidance also won the Wenhua and Golden Bell Excellence Awards.

In 2015, Ren Jie was elected as the 15th Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Jiangsu Province.

With her outstanding musical talent and high-level guzheng skills, she has often become the designated partner of famous composers, and has premiered a number of new guzheng works. "Dream of the Mountain", etc. were quickly and widely circulated across the country, and her performance became a model for performing such works, which is unique in the zheng world.

In her more than ten years of playing career, she has traveled all over China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, France, Japan, Singapore and many other countries. He often participates in art festivals, music festivals and other important international performances as a solo guest. TV stations, radio stations and media in many countries have made interviews and special editions for him. Participated in recording music CDs and teaching dozens of VCDs.
