Shi Haibin, born on July 1, 1975, is a famous suona performer, a postgraduate tutor of the Central Conservatory of Music, the secretary of the Party branch of the Central Conservatory of Music and the director of the Folk Music Teaching and Research Section.
In 1989, he was admitted to Shanxi Opera School to study Shanxi Opera music and suona performance art. In 1994, he was admitted to the Department of Folk Music of the Central Conservatory of Music for an undergraduate degree, under the tutelage of Professor Chen Jiaqi, a famous suona educator.
