Introduction to Tam Ka Fai(yangqin)Master performer

Tan Jiahui, born in Hong Kong, immigrated to Canada at the age of eight, studied piano since childhood, and also studied dulcimer since 1994. Xia Weiqing was his enlightenment teacher. Since 1996, he continued to study with Hong Shengmao and Guo Minqing who moved to the local area. From 1994 to 2000, he went to many He studied in China and benefited a lot from the guidance of famous dulcimer Gao Xiang and Li Lingling.

In 1995, he won the championship of the first Kiwanis Music Festval [non-Western instrumental music group] at the Toronto Large-scale Music Festival in Canada (this is the only Chinese instrumental music competition recognized in Canada). In 2000, he made his first solo CD album recording. In recent years, he has actively participated in various Chinese and Western concert performances and fundraising activities for charity and public welfare, and has been recognized as a rare young musician. In addition to making practical efforts to promote Chinese culture overseas, it also plays an encouraging role for the overseas young generation.
