Introduction to Tang Yubin(erhu,gaohu)Master performer

Tang Yubin, former director of the Folk Music Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, postgraduate tutor, gaohu and erhu performer. Member of China Musicians Association.

Mr. Yubin went to Moscow in 1957 to participate in the 6th World Youth and Students Peace and Friendship Art Competition and won the gold medal. He has performed in the former Soviet Union, the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Japan and other countries with the delegation of Chinese young musicians. Solo concerts were held in Shenyang, Jilin, Central Conservatory of Music and other places, and the students included Erhu and Banhu performers Zhao Duoliang. Students Guo Junming and Sun Zhongjian participated in the first national erhu competition in 1963 and won awards respectively, and Yin Zaishen participated in the national national instrumental music competition in 1982 and won the first prize. I have composed the erhu songs "The Shepherdess", "Love the Story", "Spring Comes" and so on. Monographs include "How to Pull Erhu", "National Instrumental Music" and so on.
