The Shanren Band was established in the remote and mysterious Yunnan. It is a band with different ethnic backgrounds. Its members include Han, Commoner, Yi and British. Chengjun has participated in almost all large-scale music festivals in China for more than ten years.
The band is from Yunnan, and it is self-evident to take such a name. There is the simplicity of the mountain and the sincerity of the mountain, but it does not have the stalwart and arrogance of the mountain, and it is not even a rock band in the typical sense.
They know they can't make fashionable music, so they keep their ears close to the folk. "The mountain people have their own tricks", their music is just like their character: simple and restrained, spiritually light and with a hint of cunning. There is no reinforced concrete, human affection is cold, there is no madness and hatred of women, only the simplest impulse, the most simple yearning and the most instinctual confusion of the mountain people in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, and the nostalgia for the mountains behind them. Life is hard, but their music and attitude towards music is simple and even instinctive.
The band sings and travels between Beijing and Kunming, and has participated in the 2nd Beijing Midi Music Festival, Lijiang Snow Mountain Music Festival, the 7th MIDI Music Festival and other Midi Music Festival performances.

Shanren Band was founded by lead singer Qu Zihan. The team was founded in 2000. At that time, the other two members of the band were bassist Nie Chang and drummer Xiao Ou. Later, they joined keyboardist Tu, and Ai Yong also became a member of Shanren in Beijing. , Nie Chang and Tu Yu left the band, and then Xiaobudian joined the Shanren Band.
