Introduction to Wang Peng(guqin)Master performer

Wang Peng graduated from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music majoring in Guqin production, and studied under Zheng Minzhong of the Palace Museum during the piano repairing process in the Musical Instrument Showroom of the Music Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts. In 2001, "Juntianfang" was established in Daxing District, Beijing, and started to play the qin independently. Now, "Beijing Juntianfang Guqin Art Research and Development Center" has been established. The qin he made has extensive social influence, and has been presented to many national leaders and international friends as a national gift, becoming a local cultural brand. Wang Peng also founded the "Jun Tianqin Academy", which has been adhering to the teaching of Guqin, especially the teaching of young people, and has trained more than 500 students. Many Guqin elegant collections he presided over are also self-contained and have a wide range of influences.

In 1990, he graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music with a major in musical instrument craftsmanship. He used to be a technician at Beijing National Musical Instrument Factory.

Since 1996, "Jun Tianfang Guqin Studio" has been established.

Now he is the executive director of China Musical Instrument Production Association and the director of China Guqin Association.

Mr. Wang Peng has successively restored the famous qin "Jiuxiao Huan Pei" in Tang Dynasty; "Dragon and Tiger Roar" in Song Dynasty, and more than 100 historical famous qin used by Zhao Mengfu and Li Qingzhao. The guqin made by Mr. Wang Peng is also regarded as the classic and quintessence of Chinese musical instruments, and has been played in the Vienna Golden Hall, Sydney Opera House and other world-renowned concert halls.

The guqin used by many film and television crews, such as the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the previous CCTV Spring Festival Gala, the film "Red Cliff" and "Swordsman", all came from the hands of Wang Peng. Wang Peng has been engaged in the production and research and development of guqin for many years, and is the most professional and famous qin master in contemporary China.
