Wang Xianhong, a young guqin player and qin master, has representative works such as "Yunshui Zen Heart", "Tai Chi", "Pipa Language", "Sauvignon Blanc", "Rain Under the Eaves" and so on.
Wang Xianhong was born in Feixi, Anhui Province. He began to learn national musical instruments with his father at the age of 8. He joined the army at the age of 17 and was specially recruited as a literary soldier. After changing jobs, he returned to Yangzhou, the hometown of zither, and continued to study the art of guqin wholeheartedly. Under the tutelage of Professor Li Xiangting from the Central Conservatory of Music, he developed his own unique playing style.
Wang Xianhong has adapted many modern pieces suitable for guqin playing, and rationally trimmed some traditional qin pieces to make them more convenient to play and teach.
