Yan Xiaoyi, currently a Guzheng solo performer of the Ningxia Song and Dance Troupe, a national fourth-level performer, the representative of Ningxia Guzheng of the "Golden Bell Award for Chinese Music", a Guzheng player of the National Orchestra of Ningxia Performing Arts Group, a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, a member of the Ningxia Musicians Association, Ningxia Director of Guzheng Association, graduated from Beijing Normal University.
He studied zheng at the age of 9. In 2002, he was admitted to the music department of Beijing Music and Dance School, majoring in guzheng. He studied under Zhang Xiaoqun from China Conservatory of Music and Li Jun from China Opera Academy.
In 2014 and 2015, he was awarded the "Advanced Worker of Ningxia Song and Dance Troupe".
In 2017, he was awarded the "Outstanding Actor" in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
He went to Russia, Germany and other countries to participate in visiting performances.
