Introduction to Zhong Xiaotian(erhu)Master actor actress A second-year full-time master student at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Huo Yonggang. Winner of the 12th China Music Golden Bell Award; principal of the "Wings of Strings" bow and string orchestra. In addition to huqin, he is also good at dulcimer, pipa and cello. Born in Shanghai in 1996, he studied dulcimer with his mother Zhong Ming at the age of 4, and erhu with his father Chen Zhengzhong at the age of 5.
In 2013, he was admitted to the Department of Folk Music of Shanghai Conservatory of Music with the first place in his major; in 2018, he was admitted to the graduate department with the first place in his major. He has visited Britain, France, Japan, Southeast Asia and other places for exchange performances many times. In 2014, he won the gold medal in the 4th International Chinese Instrumental Music Competition; in 2015, he won the gold medal in the youth group of the 3rd Qingle Cup International Erhu Competition in Hong Kong; he participated in the 8th, 9th and 10th Golden Bell Award Erhu Competition and won the semi-finalist award.
In October 2016, he successfully held a solo Huqin recital at the He Luting Concert Hall. In January 2019, he won the gold award in the youth group of the 3rd (Dunhuang) Chinese National Instrumental Music and National Dance Art Week.
In August 2019, he won the finalist award of the "Central Radio and Television Station - CCTV China Instrumental Music TV Competition". In October 2019, he won the 12th China Music Golden Bell Award. Won the National Scholarship for two consecutive years, and was rated as the three best students of the year. He has successfully held solo recitals in and out of school many times.
