Zhu Hai, a gaohu virtuoso who was once called "Three Gaohus" together with Liu Tianyi and Shen Wei, has passed away. During the development and maturity of Cantonese music, many outstanding talents emerged, including He Liutang, He Yunian, and He Shaoxia, who were known as the "Three Heroes of the He Family" from the mid-Qing period to the late Qing Dynasty. Lv Wencheng, Yin Zizhong, He Dasha and He Langping of "The King of Heaven". In addition, there are many composers and performers. After liberation, Liu Tianyi, Fang Han, Zhu Hai, Yu Qiwei, etc. became famous. Today, local musicians such as Shen Wei, Tang Kaixuan and He Kening are still active on the stage.

The so-called "three gaohu" refers to three famous gaohu players after liberation: Liu Tianyi, Zhu Hai and Shen Wei.
