The big sanxian is a plucked stringed musical instrument of Mongolian, Manchu, and Han nationalities. It is named after Zhang's three strings. Popular in Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi and other provinces.
