Kashi Rewapu (pinyin: duō lǎng rè wǎ pǔ) is a Uyghur plucked stringed musical instrument. Also translated as Daolang Rewapu, Doran Rewapu. Popular in Awati, Bachu, Maigaiti and Shache in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is one of the main accompaniment instruments of "Hami Muqam".
The traditional Dolangewapu, the body is made of mulberry, apricot or walnut, with a total length of about 80 cm.
When playing Dolangewapu, often take a seated position, hold the qin obliquely around the waist, place the resonance box at the root of the right leg, the leather surface is inclined upward, the head of the qin is raised to the left, at a 45° angle, and the left hand is supported by the tiger's mouth The piano rod is usually used by the index finger, middle finger and ring finger to press the strings to take the sound, and the right thumb and index finger hold the pick to pluck the strings to pronounce. Can be used for solo, ensemble or accompaniment, or play and sing by yourself. It is one of the main accompaniment instruments for folk playing "Dorang Muqam".
