Jianggu (pinyin: Jiāng gǔ) is a Zhuang musical instrument. It is popular in Debao and Jingxi areas in the west of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The drum body is hollowed out and carved from a whole section of fir, the upper part is cylindrical, the lower part is closed and sealed, and the drum bottom is in the shape of an eggshell, and three drum legs are carved at the bottom of the drum. Covered with cowhide, the edges of the leather surface are fixed with double rows of iron nails. The diameter of the drum surface is 45 cm, the height of the drum is 60 cm (including the height of the drum leg, which is 20 cm). A pair of drum rings are placed on each side of the middle of the drum body, and a sound hole with a diameter of 10 cm is opened in the center of the drum bottom. The outer surface of the drum body is painted and painted with Zhuang nationality patterns. The drum is made of wood, and the head of the drum is first wrapped with flannel, and then wrapped with cloth.
