Leirong

Lerong (pinyin: lēi róng), also known as Songkanlerong, rong, brushed, is a unique musical instrument of the Jingpo people, popular in the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province.

The velvet weak blow has a strong tone, the flat blow tone is soft, and the super blow tone is bright. It is often used for solo performances. Young men of Jingpo ethnic group like to play when they are in love.

Most of the songs played by Lerong are Jingpo folk songs, including "narrative songs", "love songs", "mountain songs", "playing" and "lerong" and so on.
