Transfer Konghou overview

Transfer Konghou Tuned Konghou (pinyin: zhuǎn diào kōng hóu) is a new type of plucked stringed musical instrument. On the basis of the Yanzhu Konghou, we design and manufacture the mechanical structure to make it a musical instrument with perfect structure, beautiful shape and strong expressiveness.

In April 1981, Yanzhu transferred Konghou was officially included in the scientific research project of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. On the basis of the original Yanzhu Konghou, Zhang Kun completed the design of the mechanical structure for transfer. Zhao Guangyun, a third-year student, participated in the body making, painting and assembly work.

Zhao Guangyun of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, on the basis of summarizing and inheriting a lot of practical experience of his predecessors, gathered the culmination of reforms of the past dynasties, absorbed the advantages of the Yanzhu Konghou, and also made a tuning Konghou at the end of 1984, and invited the Central Chinese Orchestra Konghou soloist Cui Junzhi Go to the audition, the identification.

Tuned Konghou's solos include "High Mountains and Flowing Water", "Bamboo of Concubine Xiang", "The Fishing Boat Sings Evening", "The Moon is High" and so on.
