The age of the contestants ranges from 4 to 70 years old. In this art festival competition, Deng Yangming, a student from Qujing Tianlai Siyun Art School, won the gold medal, the highest award in the top sixteen finals, after many competitions and selections. Deng Yangmingsai has been learning cucurbit flute since he was 3 years old. In March 2019, he participated in the recording of CCTV's "Very 6+1 - Little Little Big Ability" program; Participated in the recording of the "Fenghua Chinese Music" program; in 2019, he won the silver award in the children's group at the China Lianghe International Hulusi Bau Culture and Tourism Art Festival; in August 2021, he participated in the Yunnan Province Hulusi Bau Competition and won the gold award in the professional group.

It is reported that in this art festival competition, 5 people from Qujing Tianlai Silk Rhythm Art School "passed the test" and entered the top 16, becoming the best among more than 1,000 contestants - Deng Yangming won the gold award (a bonus of 10,000 yuan) , Qian Lu won the bronze award (a bonus of 3,000 yuan), and Zhu Yijin, Fu Ruijia, and Lu Aiwei won the top ten awards (a bonus of 1,000 yuan).
