Tianjin Musical Instrument Zhang, as a municipal intangible cultural heritage, has inherited the ancient method of making traditional Chinese musical instruments with a history of more than 180 years.

This situation has continued until my grandfather and my father handed over. Only the era can change, and our family's skills can be learned, inherited and even carried forward by more people." Mr. Zhang Yu said.
Relying on this skill, the musical instrument Zhang Shijia has developed so far, and has 20 national music halls, 2 directly-operated factories and 3 holding factories across the country. But even in the past years, in terms of production, ancient methods are still used everywhere.
There are 6 musical instruments Zhang Guang in Tianjin's National Music Museum. The venue for this interview, the Musical Instrument Zhang Museum located on the Fifth Avenue, is a collection of traditional Chinese music collections and valuable works that have been passed down from generation to generation in the family, thus witnessing the inheritance and development of Tianjin Chinese traditional music.

His representative work, Zhang's Zen Qin, is even more distinctive.

Mr. Zhang Yu has always been very proud of his family's heritage. He knows the responsibility on his shoulders, never forget his original intention, and forge ahead.
More than 180 years of wind, frost, sun and moon will take 6 generations to experience. During the period of social change, development, war... Although people today can understand through the data, but only by personal experience, can we truly understand the impact.
Such a family is a participant in history, but is it not a sculptor of history?
