On February 23, Han Baoqiang, professor of the China Conservatory of Music and director of the Professional Committee of Musical Instruments (Science and Technology) of the Association, Zhu Xincun, president of the China Association for Performing Arts Equipment Technology, Hu Min, executive director of the Organizing Committee of the China International Musical Instrument Exhibition, Fu Shujuan, project manager, Sun Yuning, deputy secretary-general of the Professional Committee of Performance Venue Equipment, and Meng Fanying, publicity director of the exhibition company, This paper discusses a series of activities such as the selection, recognition, forum and exhibition of national improved musical instruments held during the 30th China International Musical Instrument Exhibition.

The event was jointly sponsored by the China Performing Arts Equipment Technology Association and the China National Orchestra Association, and jointly hosted by the Organizing Committee of the China International Instrument Exhibition, the Professional Committee of Musical Instruments (Science and Technology) of the China Performing Arts Equipment Technology Association, and the Instrument Reform Committee of the China National Orchestra Association.

The event will focus on the achievements of the improvement of national musical instruments in the past hundred years, carry forward the Chinese national music culture, and provide a platform for the display of the influential, widely used and representative national improved musical instruments in the past hundred years. In the early stage of the exhibition, the organizing committee will extensively collect excellent national improved musical instruments and organize industry experts to select them. During the exhibition, the award-winning excellent national improved musical instruments will be commended and the exhibition area will be set up to let the audience and exhibitors appreciate the evolution history of Chinese national musical instruments over the past hundred years and feel the beauty of the development of national musical instruments. At the same time, a special forum on the improvement of national musical instruments will be held to invite the top experts in the domestic musical instrument industry and workers who are committed to the improvement of national musical instruments to discuss the development of China's national improved musical instruments and the future direction of the improvement of national musical instruments.
