In order to develop national music and promote the art of guqin, many colleagues have carried out painstaking and meticulous work and achieved admirable results. I won't go into details here, but the author will briefly discuss the popularization and improvement of the guqin, as a brick for attracting jade.
Any national musical instrument is deeply rooted in the people of its own nation, and it is produced, spread and developed among the masses. Guqin is no exception. It has been circulated among literati in the past dynasties and has produced many schools. Each school has its own qin master. It has formed a huge social influence and has become a treasure of Chinese culture and art.
We propose that the popularization of the guqin refers to the popularization among people of a certain cultural level, which is based on the current situation of the development of the guqin. At present, the development status of Chinese guqin is not optimistic. It can be said that there are not many people who play the qin, very few people who listen to the qin, it is difficult to find a soulmate, and the age structure of the qin players is aging. There are many reasons for this situation. In recent years, the collision and fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. There has been a phenomenon that popular literature and art have swept across China, and the national culture has been left alone. Guitars and electronic pianos continue to be popular, but some folk instrumental music is ignored. In ancient my country, it was "a fair lady, a friend of the piano and selves", and today's Western musical instruments are good partners for young people. Guqin does not attract intellectual youth.
Among the ancient Chinese poets, writers, painters, and scholar-officials, there were many who knew the qin and who played the qin were known as guqin masters. And how many of today's poets, writers, painters, and composers can play the guqin? Some people think that children are not suitable for training the guqin. However, as the "king of musical instruments", the piano, the "Queen of musical instruments" violin, and the "Oriental piano" Guzheng and other musical instruments have become children's favorites. How many of the current music schools have guqin majors? How many liberal arts college students are obsessed with guqin? This cannot but arouse our vigilance and attention. Therefore, the popularization of guqin should be put on the agenda. , Mr. Zhuge Liang should go down to the city and act as a gardener, and can no longer sing "city plans".
1986. After the China Guzheng Academic Exchange Conference was held in Yangzhou, zhengists have devoted themselves to the popularization of guzheng with great enthusiasm. In recent years, guzheng competitions have been frequent, and zheng players have emerged one after another, gradually forming a children's guzheng that develops folk music with guzheng as a breakthrough. hot.
The popularization of guqin is different from that of guzheng. It must go out of its own way. First of all, it is necessary to pay attention to the propaganda role of newspapers, radio and TV stations. Let many pianists meet the audience. Let the bosom friend team expand. Secondly, we must organize teachers, implement policies, provide business training, and do a good job in the development and improvement of guqin instruments, and the reform of piano scores. As long as everyone works together, "Zhong Ziqi" will come to the door. In recent years. The predecessors have left us extremely valuable experience in the production of qin, especially in the Tang Dynasty. Guqin production has reached its peak. It is enough to make future generations proud, but due to the development of science and the limitation of history, the handed down guqin makes people feel some inadequacies. In order to make the dazzling flower of national music more dazzling, many guqin professionals and amateurs have made bold explorations on the improvement of guqin. Our factory has invested a certain amount of strength in the development of national musical instruments, passed the provincial appraisal of the double arc zheng, copied the guqin, and resumed the development of the Jinhui Yuzhen guqin and the Hanmu guqin. In recent years, we have felt that the defects of the traditional guqin in terms of volume and tuning have directly affected the popularization and development of the guqin, so we started some explorations. In terms of volume, the volume of the guqin is too small. in today's modern cities. It is extremely difficult to find a quiet environment to play the piano. Without good amplification equipment, the guqin can hardly be on the same stage as any other instrument. Due to the primitive tuning method and the inconvenience of winding and changing strings, many young people are discouraged. Therefore, it is the wish of many piano friends to improve the traditional guqin. We conduct research and exploration from the following two aspects:
1. About the volume
Like other musical instruments, the guqin has a larger resonance box whose air capacity is no less than that of pipa, liuqin, sanxian, erhu, violin and other instruments. But its low volume is inherently insufficient, which is regrettable. The reason is that other musical instruments have qin code to transmit vibration, and the lute does not seem to have code, but its bergamot hand is not installed on the frame, and it plays the same role as the code. Therefore, how to increase the volume of the guqin only needs to be developed at the head and tail of the guqin. Imagine adding a part like a dragon's gum at the tail of the piano near the thirteen emblems, and the sound of the piano will increase. According to the principle that the guqin should be short and not long. Increase its actual length and shorten its effective string length to make an improved guqin. In addition, you can make a fuss at Yueshan at the head of the Qin to cut out the lower part of Yueshan, remove the item and make the left part of the wind tongue into a resonance box. The key is that the timbre cannot be changed, the depth of excavation should be appropriate, and the thickness of other parts of the piano surface should be adjusted accordingly.
2. About winding and tuning
The tuning device of the traditional guqin is an expression of the wisdom and wisdom of the ancients, but compared with modern times, it has become primitive. Winding the string around the wild goose's feet makes it very difficult to wind the string, and even more difficult to handle when the string is broken. We did some trial production on the stringing and tuning of the qin. First, place a small screw cap in the small hole of the qin, and put the lead wire under the guqin knot at the end of the string through one end with a wire rod. After the string is installed, as long as Rotate it, and the strings will relax, and the strings can be tuned. If the screw is turned along, it will produce the same lead pattern as the traditional guqin, which will not affect the tuning. Then install a metal accessory at the goose foot of the violin, each string is inserted into a hollow screw, and a small part is added to fix the string. When a string is put on, just pull the end of the string, tighten the screw, and then use a small nail to poke in the screw hole to make the screw rotate and tighten the string, which also plays the role of fine-tuning. If a string breaks, it can be replaced immediately, without hassle, and makes both head and tail adjustable. After auditioning the winding device will not produce slow running strings.
