On August 7, 2022, the second membership meeting and general meeting of the Anhui Guqin Society was successfully held at the Anhui Hotel. Liu Ping, chairman of the Anhui Women's Federation, Li Meimei, general manager of Anhui Performing Arts Group, and Lin Yong, secretary and vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles , Zhao Junchao, Secretary of the Party Group of Hefei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Hu Sheng, Deputy Director of the Literature and Art Department of the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, Tang Lin, Director of the Social Organization Administration of the Anhui Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Xu Haiyan, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Anhui Musicians Association, Anhui Artists Association Vice-Chairman Xie Zongjun, Secretary-General of Hefei Federation of Literary and Art Circles Tao Yuan, Executive Vice-President of Anhui Mei'an Qin Society Zhang Wei and other leaders attended the meeting.

The meeting listened to and reviewed the work report of the council, the newly revised draft articles of association, and elected the new council members and the person in charge of the society. Wang Huining was elected as the second president.

Time flies, Anhui Guqin Society has gone through 5 years since its establishment in 2017. In the past five years, Anhui Guqin Society has been under the care and guidance of leading units at all levels, such as Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Anhui Civil Affairs Department, brother societies, and music industry seniors, with the strong support of its members and Guqin lovers. With the help of everyone, everyone worked together and did their best to actively carry out a series of exciting activities for the popularization, dissemination and promotion of the art of guqin, providing a professional, broad and beautiful platform for the whole province and even the whole country.

Anhui has been an important center of guqin culture since ancient times. In history, there have been many qin players, and they have left us many qin scores. We look forward to the Anhui Guqin Society, under the leadership of the new president and council, to make more contributions to the inheritance and development of guqin art. May the ancient rhythm of uprightness and peace in the guqin, and the upright sound of the five tones, be forever echoed in the Jianghuai land of Anhui, and echoed in China forever and ever.
