The Guqin song "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms", also known as "Plum Blossom Induction", "Plum Blossom Song" and "Yu Fei Induction", is a masterpiece of Chinese classical music that expresses plum blossoms. It was widely circulated among the people as early as the Tang Dynasty. The whole piece expresses the pure white fragrance of plum blossoms and the noble character of Ling Shuang and Aoxue. "Withered Wood Zen Qin Pu" said: "The sound of the song is quiet and quiet, the syllables are comfortable, and a kind of loneliness appears under the fingers; it seems that there is a cold fragrance entering the lungs, and it must be calmly communicated to obtain its purpose."
Since Jin and Sui Dynasty, there has been this flute music, which was composed by Huan Yi, a general of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was later adapted into qin music by Tang Dynasty qin master Yan Shigu, which has been passed down to this day. The musical score was first seen in the "Magic Secret Pu", in which it was briefly recorded: "It is a song, Huanyi and Prince You in the past heard its name but did not know it. One day they encountered various roads and got off the car to discuss it together. Ziyou said: ' Wen Jun is good at flute? 'Huan Yi played the flute to the tune of the three plum blossoms, and later generations used the qin as the three."
According to the flute of the Jin Dynasty, which is the modern Xiao, this adaptation may reflect the style of the flute music of the Jin Dynasty to a certain extent. In the Qing "Qin Score Harmony", there is a score of this piece adapted for the qin and xiao ensemble. The noble character of Meihua Aoshuang is an important theme in ancient and modern art creation, and is often used by people as a metaphor for people with noble morals. Ming Yang's "Boya Heart Method" records: "Plum is the clearest flower, and the qin is the clearest sound. Writing the clearest thing with the clearest sound should have the rhythm of Lingshuang. The meaning of three lanes, Then take the three overtones, the same strings and different emblems." It is rare to use the complete repetition of three overtones in qin music. "Therefore, there are three folds of Yangguan everywhere, and three lanes of plum blossoms every night." ("Lvhua") ).
The theme of the music expresses plum blossoms. The origin of its name is that the overtone tune in the first half is repeated three times on different emblems to describe the elegance and cleanliness of plum blossoms. In the second half of the piece, a slightly faster tune and changes in timbre are used to express the unyielding and unyielding form of plum blossoms swaying in the cold wind. "Three Nongs" are actually three variations. In the "Yuefu Poetry Collection", Volume 30 Ping Tuning and Volume 33 Qing Tuning each have a problem-solving problem. It is mentioned that in the performance of Xianghe three-tone instrumental music, the flute is used as the "bottom sound". The technique of "getting, getting high, and playing". The structure of the "Three Lanes" in today's qin music may be a relic of this form of performance.
Regarding the content of the music of "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms", the piano scores of all dynasties have been introduced, which is different from the flute music "Plum Blossoms Falling" from the Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, which mostly expresses the emotional content of resentment and despair. The Ming and Qing qin songs "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms" mostly use the plum blossoms' arrogant, lofty and unyielding morals and temperament as the expression content. Today's performance includes the qin and xiao combination of Yushan School's "Qin Pu Harmony" (edited by Xianzu, Qing Zhou, 1820). The rhythm is relatively regular and suitable for ensemble; the "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms" played by modern qinist Fu Xuezhai has a relatively regular rhythm and is also suitable for ensemble, so qin artists call it "New Plum Blossom"; The piano score played is called "Old Plum Blossom". Its rhythm is free and ups and downs, and it shows the strong and straight temperament of plum blossoms. Especially before the end of the song, the music suddenly changes from the key of F to the key of A, which is refreshing.
