The Beijing Chinese Orchestra was formally established in September 2015 and is affiliated to the Beijing Performing Arts Group.

Cui Can, Principal Erhu of the Beijing Chinese Orchestra, graduated from the China Conservatory of Music. He studied erhu at the age of three, and is good at huqin performances such as erhu, Jinghu, Yehu, Xihu, etc.; under the tutelage of famous huqin performing artist, educator, and tutor of postgraduate students, Fei Song. Wang Xiangyang is a suona player of the Beijing Chinese Orchestra. Graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Shi Haibin. He has visited South Korea, Germany, Japan, South Africa, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovakia, Vienna and other countries to participate in exchange performances. Participated in the "Music of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Malaysia. Li Qian, an erhu player of the Beijing Chinese Orchestra, is a master student of erhu at the Central Conservatory of Music. At the age of 7, he studied erhu with teacher Zhang Chongwu, and later learned from professor Yan Jiemin, associate professor Wang Ying, and professor Li Jianxiong, and followed teacher Hu Yu to learn banhu. Successfully held two solo concerts during the school period; won a scholarship for three consecutive years. He has won the gold medal in the Erhu youth group of the "Dunhuang Cup" National Instrumental Music Competition in 2017, and the silver medal in the erhu youth group of the 2016 Beijing National Instrumental Music Competition. As a specially invited erhu, he toured with the New Kyushu Philharmonic Orchestra in many places across the country. He has been appointed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China to participate in foreign cultural exchange activities for many times, and his footprints have spread all over the United States, Canada, Macao and other countries and regions.
