Bubba, a Tibetan lip vibration musical instrument. It is also called Gongdong in Tibetan. The Han people are called the big number one and the cloth number. It is popular in Tibetan Buddhist monasteries such as Dangka Temple in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province and Heijing Temple in Badi Township, Danba County, Sichuan Province.

Bubba has a long history. The ancient frescoes of the extant Guge Dynasty ruins have images of their performances. Originally circulated in Sakya Monastery in Sakya County, Shigatse Region of Tibet and Lama Monastery in Ngari Region, it is now only used in individual monasteries in Kham dialect area and Jiarong dialect area.
