"Pulling the erhu is something I do every day, as natural as sleeping and eating, it is an integral part of my life". Chen Yimiao learned Erhu from her grandfather Chen Yaoxing and father Chen Jun since she was a child. Under the influence of ears and eyes, he showed high musical attainments at a young age. After winning the championship of China Central Radio and Television China Instrumental Music TV Competition, she achieved the grand slam of the three major erhu competitions in China as the youngest winner. Not only that, Chen Yimiao has also performed with symphony orchestras at home and abroad for many times, and performed as a soloist in the United States, Canada and other countries around the world. Behind the scene is Chen Yimiao's decades of diligence and self-discipline, and her persistent pursuit of high-level performance has prompted her to adhere to the practice habit of about 8 hours a day. Inheriting the mission of promoting traditional classics, Chen Yimiao uses the beauty of Erhu to let more people appreciate the meaning of Chinese classics.

Diligence and talent have pushed Chen Yimiao to a bigger stage, and the voice of China has also been heard by the world. In February of this year, Chen Yimiao participated in the "50th Anniversary Celebration of Nixon's Ice-Breaking Trip to China" held in California. She and her father, Chen Jun, appeared as the finale guests, and presented the famous Erhu song "Wild Flying Horses" together. The sound of the piano is combined with abundant emotions, making the audience feel like they are in the scene; participating in the classic special concert "Arts Gathering East and West, Beauty and Beauty" jointly held by the Ball Museum and the American Chinese Style Art Association, bringing "Erhu: Past and Present" The pure English keynote speech showed the beauty of erhu's instrumental music in the form of a humorous talk show, and the scene was full of applause and admiration. Up to now, the video has been viewed more than 1.87 million times on station B, and netizens shouted "opening a new world, this is our cultural confidence".

In Chen Yimiao's view, to promote a musical instrument, a pleasant melody is very important. As a student at Berklee College of Music, Yimiao Chen regards the promotion of Erhu as one of her most important goals. In addition to playing the erhu on the stage to let more people appreciate the charm of this instrument, she is also learning to compose and arrange music, trying to create beautiful melodies that reflect the sound of the erhu. Since 2019, she has begun to integrate erhu with modern pop music. She not only tried to use erhu to play world-renowned classic repertoires, but also created works such as "Jinzijing·Huqin", "On the Way" and "First Expedition", which are national treasures of Norway. The classic work "Världen är vacker" (Life Like Four Seasons) by the top-level musician Björn Ezwa has been rewritten and adapted and covered, presenting a new musical style of Erhu with multiple creative concepts.
