The mountain is as green as a song; Listen to this green, roll into a dream, a string "music" ancient and modern. Following the dance poem drama "Only Green" - the dance painting of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", China Oriental Performance Group launched the music poem and painting "Listen to this green - Sing for a Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains". On the evening of the 7th, the opening performance will unfold a picture scroll depicting the green landscape of the motherland in audio-visual form for the audience.
The music poem and painting "Listen to this green -- Sing about a thousand miles of rivers and mountains with music" shows the geographical landscape and human customs in the famous painting "A thousand miles of rivers and mountains" with 13 magnificent pictures. It draws on the artistic expression of ancient music such as "High Mountains and Flowing Water", "Fishing Boat Singing Evening", "Plum Blossom Three Nongs", "Sunset Bamboo Drum", "Birds Whispering in the Empty Mountain", and integrates ancient national musical instruments such as Bianzhong, Konghou, Zhuo, Xun, and western brass wind music, and adds painting, calligraphy The artistic conception dance and other forms of expression inject the magnificent and profound, rich and light distant charm into the grand scenery of mountains and rivers. Walking alone for thousands of years, the stars are solitary. Wander in the music and painting poetry volume of "music in painting, music in painting", listen to it, view it, and feel the vast millennium time and space and rich cultural life.
Li Bing, director of the Instrumental Music Center of China Oriental Performing Arts Group, said when talking about creative inspiration, the concert will run through the theme of "walking alone for thousands of years", and slowly open the prelude of thousands of years of spring and autumn and beautiful scenery from the perspective of the audience. The music full of picture sense leads the audience to appreciate the painting charm and character of the Thousand Miles Map of Rivers and Mountains, as well as the magnificent beauty of green mountains and green waters on the land of China. "I suddenly heard that there was a fairy mountain on the sea, and the mountain was in the void", which is the oriental aesthetic image described in Misty Mist and Misty Mist. This song, based on the Poyang Lake Fishing Song, reflects the beautiful scenery of vast expanses of mist and clear water, creating a wonderland like leisure and secluded environment, and bringing immersive audio-visual enjoyment to the audience.
Musical poems and paintings use many ancient musical instruments with Chinese traditional cultural connotation, such as Bianzhong, Konghou, Zhu, Xun, and Guqin, to integrate with western musical instruments, and invite famous composers Meng Ke and young composer Lv Liang to create them. In the picture "Thundering Cangyue", Zhu, Pipa, Bamboo Flute, Guqin and trumpet, trombone and saxophone are playing together. The three-dimensional timbre, rich changing stage effects and superb playing skills vividly interpret the spirit of a thousand mile scenic spot. Zhu was performed by Peng Liying, a specially invited artist, who seemed to be standing on the Yishui River in 227 BC, and the sad song of attacking Zhu kept ringing in my ears. "The wind is whistling, the water is cold, and the heroes will never return once they are gone". The solemn and stirring tone of the building skillfully shows the lying and leaning of mountains, the majesty of beautiful peaks, and the winding mountains immediately emerge in front of us.
It is worth mentioning that the ancient musical instrument Feng Shou Konghou plays the ethereal sound that runs through the heaven and earth, just like the free and broad phoenix flying around the world. The picture "Phoenix Flying through the Wild" is played by specially invited Konghou artist Lu Lu. The ethereal, clear and soft timbre shows that phoenix flies and travels in the world. The work reconstructs the ancient music melody with modern composition techniques, showing the memory of ancient ritual music and the respect for nature. At the end of "The Competition between Rivers and Mountains", the chimes played the theme of "The Night of Flowers and Moonlight on the Spring River", which is ethereal and profound, and the magnificent verve outlines the prosperous era. The whole performance conveys poetic humanistic and natural feelings, as well as the beauty and style of ancient Chinese civilization.
In visual aesthetics, music, poetry and painting use scientific and technological stage technology to let the audience see color in their ears, hear sound in their eyes, and shape with sound, which is an innovation and exploration of traditional concert forms. The crisscross of music and light and shadow together creates the artistic conception of "wild water connecting the sky and mountains entering the sea", leading the audience to immerse themselves in the "thousands of miles of rivers and mountains" projected on the stage.
It is reported that the play will also be performed in the overpass art center on October 8. After that, China Oriental Performing Arts Group will join hands with Taihe Music Group to continuously polish and modify the music poem and painting "Listen to this green -- Sing for thousands of miles".
