Tang Xuanzong once said in a poem, "The number of days in the May, the five-tone Xia Jun. In the old days, it was passed on for five days, and everything was called a god." It can be seen from the poem that there was a custom of listening to the "five-tone" elegant music during the Dragon Boat Festival in ancient times. The art of guqin is the oldest instrumental performance form in Chinese history, with the highest artistic level and the most national spirit, aesthetic taste and traditional artistic characteristics. Feel the long history of Chinese civilization in the classics."
At the scene, performers Wang Xiyao and Teacher Xiao Yao played classic songs such as "Listening to the Rain in the Mid-mountain", "Lanxiang Stream" and "Drinking Crazy", which were well received by the audience. The whole event was wonderful and orderly and contained cultural charm. The simple and elegant atmosphere and the distant sounds of nature made everyone seem to have traveled back to ancient times and received an "immersive" guqin culture. In the interview, the two teachers expressed the hope that today's performance will allow more people to understand the breadth and depth of traditional culture and love it more, and they will spare no effort to contribute to the inheritance of Guqin culture.
