The suona appeared in China around the 3rd century AD, and the suona was played on the frescoes in the 38th cave of the Kizil Grottoes in Baicheng, Xinjiang. In the Jin and Yuan dynasties, it spread to the Central Plains of China.

The ups and downs of the tone are completely matched with the owner's mood.
