Recently, the representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage of Guqin art, Wu Wenguang, a master of the Wu School in Yushan, brought his family and students to the Xishan Celebrity Cemetery in Kunming to pay homage to the tomb of Peng Zhiqing, a qin master.
Many Kunming locals don't know that in the famous cemetery on the side of the Panshan Highway in the Xishan Scenic Area, there is a qin master, Peng Zhiqing, who is inseparable from modern qin history. In 1935, Peng Zhiqing, Cha Fuxi and Zhang Ziqian co-founded the "Jinyu Qin Society", and later influential guqin masters such as Wu Jinglue, Wu Zhaoji, Yao Bingyan, etc. all came from this "Jinyu Qin Society"; In 1937, Peng Zhiqing compiled the qin piece "Remembering the Old Man" from his family's "Liqin Xuan Old Score" and published it in "Jin Yu" In Qin Magazine, "Remembering an Old Man" has been circulated in the world since then and has become one of the famous Guqin songs. Although this qin player passed away early during the war, his achievements in qin learning and legendary experience continue to attract generations of qin players.
In August, the Xishan Mountains were lush and green, and the morning breeze was mellow, accompanied by the sound of "Remembering the Old Man", Wu Wenguang, dressed in a blue cloth, led a group of musicians holding chrysanthemums around Peng Zhiqing's cemetery in an orderly manner. After bowing his head in silence, Wu Wenguang held the incense ceremony, read out his own sacrificial text, and corrected Peng Zhiqing's tombstone.
He Zijun, the relevant person in charge of the Kunming Xishan Qin Museum, introduced that Peng Zhiqing visited the Xishan Mountain in Kunming during his lifetime and was amazed at the beauty of its landscape. Time passed, when this history was about to be annihilated, in the late 1980s, this tomb was found by Liu Hongzhang by chance. In 2018, the tomb was listed as a cultural protection unit in Xishan District, and the district government erected a marble cultural protection monument next to the tomb. The reporter noticed that before Wu Wenguang paid his respects, a few flower offerings had been enshrined in Peng Zhiqing's tomb, which indicated that there were also qin people here not long ago.
Visiting the tombs of the qin people and replaying the old songs, the reason why the guqin culture can be passed down for more than 3,000 years is not only the charm of the guqin itself, but also the long-lasting mystery of the succession of the qin people from generation to generation. In an interview, Wu Wenguang said that this was the second time he came to Kunming after many years. In addition to visiting Taihua and offering sacrifices to seniors, he also came to participate in the Guqin lecture held by the Kunming Xishan Qin Museum. This time when I came to Kunming, the most different feeling from the last time is that more and more young people are learning the piano. This ancient musical instrument seems to be understood and loved by more young people, and the development of the guqin has a broader soil. .
Guqin culture is an important part of China's excellent traditional culture. It is not only a musical instrument, but also an intangible cultural heritage that reflects the ancient Chinese civilization and literati style. This ancient and "niche" traditional art is currently attracting more and more young people, either wearing Hanfu, or playing the qin and reciting poetry... In the context of national rejuvenation, young people have The natural recognition and respect of traditional culture is the truest portrayal of national cultural self-confidence.
