On the afternoon of October 22, the "Happy South of the City" cultural benefit activity - Folk Music Appreciation Meeting opened in the Orchestra Concert Hall. With the theme of "Chinese story on the bow string", Wang Yunfei, an associate professor of the Department of Arts of Ocean University of China, and students were invited to perform, bringing a touching and elegant folk music appreciation experience to the residents of Shinan District.
Wang Yunfei, associate professor of the Department of Arts of Ocean University of China, master of erhu from the Central Conservatory of Music, member of the erhu Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, member of the Chinese National Orchestra Society, and vice chairman of the erhu Professional Committee of the Qingdao National Orchestra Society.
The performance was kicked off by the Hu Qin Ensemble of Ocean University of China, "Beating the Tiger Up the Mountain". The Ocean University of China Huqin Ensemble was established in 2011, with students majoring in Huqin performance from the Department of Arts of Ocean University of China as the main body. Since its establishment, the orchestra has successfully held many concerts, and has trained and delivered many performers for many domestic orchestras and universities.
Wang Yunfei's students followed closely. Although their average age was only 12 years old and their faces were childish, they were full of virtuosity when they picked up the erhu. The country is strong when young people are strong. "Erhu small players" played one by one Chinese style songs "Qin Feng", "Chu Song", "War Horse Pentium", "Mountain Village Scenery", and "Red Plum Theme Capriccio". Folk music lit the patriotic light in the hearts of young people.
National music can reflect national culture and spirit, and excellent national music is a historical accumulation of highly developed social ideology and art, which can stimulate people's patriotism, cultivate national self-esteem, and enhance national pride. It reflects the wishes and requirements of the people and is an indispensable spiritual food in the lives of the masses. A folk music concert recounted the patriotic, family loving and community loving feelings of the residents in Shinan District. The citizens from Zhanshan Street excitedly said, "I particularly like this concert. I hope there will be more cultural activities in the future and more community residents will participate in it."
Wang Yuan, a young violinist, a violin lecturer of Ocean University of China, and the string orchestra of Ocean University of China were specially invited to help the concert, which pushed the concert to another climax.
Next, Shinan District Culture and Tourism Bureau will focus on improving the satisfaction of people's cultural life, and in combination with the results of Shinan District's "mass cultural activity survey", it will also carry out more diversified cultural activities to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of residents in the area under its jurisdiction.
