The types of konghou are vertical konghou, phoenix-headed konghou, reclining konghou, small konghou, double row stringed konghou, yanzhu konghou, and transposition konghou.
Konghou
The vertical kong is shaped like a half-arched back and has a curved resonance groove. It is set on an upwardly curved curved wood. The speaker is mostly made of leather. It has more than 20 strings and is held vertically in the arms. Therefore, people in the Tang Dynasty called the playing Konghou also called "Qing Konghou". "Tongdian" records: "The vertical Konghou, Hu Le also, was favored by Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty. The body was curved and long, with twenty-two strings. It was held vertically in his arms and played in unison with both hands. According to ancient frescoes and documents, there are 23, 22, 16, 7 strings and so on.
phoenix head konghou
The shape of the phoenix-headed konghou is similar to the vertical konghou. The sound box is set on the lower horizontal wood, in the shape of a boat, and the upward curved wood is equipped with a reed or a reed to tighten the string. The curved neck is carved with a phoenix head, as stated in the "Book of Le Tang": the phoenix head is a Konghou, and there are items such as Zhen. Images with or without Zhen are seen in Dunhuang Wall Books. The phoenix head Konghou is the musical instrument played by Siwa Bodhisattva in Jin Dynasty in Cave 38 of Kizil Ancient Grottoes in Xinjiang today.
Lying Konghou
Lying Konghou was used in Gaoli music in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and it gradually disappeared in my country, and it was lost after the Song Dynasty. However, the Lying Konghou was passed down in North Korea, and it has become today's Xuanqin after being passed down and improved through the ages. In Japan, the Wokonghou was introduced from the country of Baekje at that time (Goryeo and Baekje were both ancient names of Korea), and it was called Baekjeum.
Small Konghou
The Xiao Konghou is a plucked stringed musical instrument of the ancient northern ethnic minorities in my country. Also known as horn-shaped konghou. It is a kind of vertical konghou, which belongs to the smaller of the vertical konghou. It has a long history, simple structure, beautiful appearance and convenient use. It has been circulated in the court and the people for a long time, but it was lost in the Qing Dynasty. It was revived in the 1930s and brought forth new ones in the 1980s. Xiao Konghou of various shapes appeared on the music stage of my country and the world, and was used in solo, ensemble or accompaniment.
double row konghou
The double-row stringed Konghou is a new type of plucked stringed musical instrument in my country. In the long history of Konghou that has been circulating for nearly two thousand years, it has always followed the structure and appearance when it was introduced, but this phenomenon was finally changed in the 1970s. The musical instrument maker Han Qihua first successfully created the double-stringed Konghou in the field of Konghou, which not only made the structure and playing technique of the Konghou develop by leaps and bounds, but also made the appearance of the Konghou completely new. It has been used in music practice, and for the first time, Konghou is used in film music. ?In 1958, Han Qihua, a national musical instrument maker in Shenyang Musical Instrument Factory, started the excavation of Konghou, the heritage of ancient northern ethnic musical instruments in my country.
Yanzhu Konghou
Yanzhu Konghou, a new type of plucked stringed musical instrument. It is named after the wild goose column as a sound guide. It is another new achievement in the development of Konghou in my country after the double-row string quivering Konghou. Zhang Kun, a senior experimenter of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, an expert in piano tuning and maintenance, and a reformer of national musical instruments, cooperated with experts in the music industry and musical instrument industry to adopt a three-dimensional double-sided pipa-shaped resonance box and a zither-shaped goose column, and borrowed the form and string array of the harp. Design, absorbing Han Qihua's "double-row string vibration" structural principle, successfully designed and produced Yanzhu Konghou, making the thousand-year-old music on the world music scene with a new look.
Transfer Konghou
Tuning Konghou, a new type of plucked stringed musical instrument. On the basis of the Yanzhu Konghou, we design and manufacture the mechanical structure to make it a musical instrument with perfect structure, beautiful shape and strong expressiveness. In April 1981, Yanzhu transferred Konghou was officially included in the scientific research project of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. On the basis of the original Yanzhu Konghou, Zhang Kun completed the design of the mechanical structure for transfer. Zhao Guangyun, a third-year student, participated in the body making, painting and assembly work. In December 1982, the eight-tone goose-post-conversion Konghou was first produced, which was appraised by the Academic Committee of Shenyang Conservatory of Music and handed over for teaching use.
