On April 9, 2022, the Anhui Museum and the Musical Instrument Professional Committee of the China Association of Museums jointly held an academic seminar (online) on "Sect and School - Chinese Modern Guqin Cultural Ecology".

The conference was held in the form of a video conference, combined with the original exhibition "My Heart at Peace - Guqin Cultural Space", with the purpose of exploring the development of modern Chinese Guqin culture. More than 100 people, including members of the Musical Instrument Professional Committee of the China Association of Museums, member units of the Anhui Provincial Museum Alliance, and experts and scholars in the field of guqin research, attended the seminar.

Xu Dazhen, vice president of the Anhui Museum and vice chairman of the Musical Instrument Committee of the China Association of Museums, presided over the meeting. Hu Min, the president of the Anhui Museum, and Zhang Xiang, the secretary general of the Musical Instrument Professional Committee of the China Association of Museums, delivered speeches respectively. In his speech, Dean Hu Min introduced the rich and colorful Anhui regional culture, and described the work carried out by our institute in the research and inheritance of excellent traditional culture. Wu Yan, the curator of "My Heart at Peace - Guqin Cultural Space", elaborated on the origin of the exhibition, the concept of curation, and the promotion of education. Twelve experts and scholars from the Palace Museum, the Chinese Academy of Arts, the Art Museum of Xi'an Conservatory of Music, Li Keran Painting Academy and other units carried out presentations on topics such as the revival of qin learning, the collection of the imperial guqin, the famous guqin schools, the contemporary guqin education and the exhibition of guqin research. exchange speeches.
