On July 3, the special planned concert for the closing of the Spring of Chinese Music and the "Pipa Night - The 20th Anniversary Celebration Concert of the Pipa Professional Committee of the Chinese National Orchestra Society" will be staged in the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The concert will begin with the pipa ensemble "Dream into Jiangnan" composed by Wang Danhong. The work was created in 2014 and is based on Jiangnan folk songs and Pingtan. This work was composed for eight pipas. Pipa, piano and string quartet "Blooming" was created by pipa player Zhao Cong based on "Double Singing in the Night Rain" and "Following Horse Folk Song" (Ma Jiuyue Opera). The first half of the piece has a beautiful melody and a profound artistic conception. The clear and transparent timbre of the pipa is more prominent under the background of the color chords. In the second half, the author boldly combines Yunnan folk songs with jazz elements, and the impromptu colorful paragraphs continue to accumulate energy, and finally bloom beautifully. Later, pipa performer Zhang Hongyan will bring the pipa solo and concerto "House of Flying Daggers" arranged by her to the audience. Zhang Hongyan creatively used the special performance method that echoed on and off the stage, and used the natural timbre of the theater to show the artistic conception of the famous traditional pipa martial art "House of Flying Daggers".
The second half was led by Pipa and the band "Dance of Music". As a commissioned work by Wu Yuxia, the music material is selected from "Happy Days" written by Ma Shenglong in 1958.
