Guqin, also known as Yaoqin, Suqin, Lyre, Sitong, etc., is one of the oldest plucked instruments in the world. It was recorded as early as 3,000 years ago in the Western Zhou Dynasty. At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the qin had already ranked first in the four arts of traditional Chinese culture, "qin, chess, calligraphy and painting", and was known as the "God of Musical Instruments".

The Zhucheng School Guqin originated from the [Yushan] school, which was formed in the mid-19th century, also known as the "Langya School Guqin". Schools, eclectic, adhering to the classics, blooming unique artistic charm in the land of Weishui. In 2008, it was selected into the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects list.

Walking into the Guqin Square, the intangible cultural heritage space of Shihu Garden, I saw Zhong Liang, the owner of the Zhucheng School Guqin and the Weifang Siyin Guqin Museum, was learning the piano, and the faint sound of the piano brought a sense of elegance and tranquility. In 2019, Zhong Liang settled in the Shihu Garden intangible cultural heritage space, following the main line of the Zhucheng School of Guqin, adhering to the tenet of "based on tradition, inheritance, combination of ancient and modern, preaching and dispelling doubts", with the responsibility of promoting traditional culture and disseminating the art of Guqin, launched There are a number of guqin study courses, and so far there have been hundreds of traditional culture lovers here to study guqin.

"It is not difficult to learn a piece of qin music, but it is not easy to play it well." Zhong Liang said that learning the qin is not only a matter of proficiency and refinement in techniques, but also requires an understanding of the qin piece, and the qin tune is prioritized and rhythmic to play the guqin.
