From August 10th to 13th, teachers and students of the National Art College of Fujian Vocational College of Art went to Shuangxi Town, Pingnan County, Ningde City, to carry out the summer social practice activity of "Promoting Guqin Culture and Helping Rural Revitalization".

During the event, teachers and students held a public welfare lecture on "Transforming Customs and Changing Customs, Renewing New Seedlings with Qin" and carried out Guqin teaching. The history and cultural origins of the guqin were introduced, the villagers were instructed in fingering practice on the spot, and a "Shuangxi Qin Music in Fujian Mountains and Minshui" was held to welcome the 20 Guqin concerts. In addition, teachers and students carried out literature and art publicity activities in Shuangxi Ancient Town. They wore guqin costumes and went out to the streets with guqin in their arms. They introduced the knowledge of guqin to villagers and tourists, allowing the audience to experience the art of guqin up close.

Combined with the local red resources, the practice team members walked into the exhibition hall of Yanhou Revolutionary Old Area to visit and study; in order to help the promotion of Shuangxi Cultural Tourism, teachers and students went to Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi scenic spots to collect local scenery, participated in the performance and assisted in shooting the promotional videos of the scenic spots; In order to investigate the current situation of rural development, the practice team also went to Bei Village and Gao'an Village of Shuangxi Town to hold discussions with village officials and visit villagers.

In this practical activity, teachers and students realized the red culture and revolutionary spirit in practice, learned about the ancient town culture and rural revitalization stories, and promoted the inheritance and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the local area. Before leaving, the People's Government of Shuangxi Town invited teachers and students to meet again in the golden autumn to jointly build a practice base for the inheritance and study of Chinese culture, and to build a platform to help the construction of rural culture and the integrated development of culture and tourism.
