Zhuo Shengxiang, Lin Sumei, Luo Chunzhen, three famous Nanyin masters from Taiwan recently appeared in the Nanyin concert of Fujian and Taiwan artists in Fuzhou, Fujian, and talked with poems, songs and string songs.
Nanyin, also known as "Xianguan", is sung in the southern Fujian dialect. It is one of the oldest existing musical genres in China. In 2009, it was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Through the form of "harmonious poetry and songs", based on Chinese poetry, combined with the unique singing style of Nanyin, through innovative creation, the concert of the day fully expressed the ancient rhyme of Tang style and Song bone, forming a novel and unique art form. Guqin, dongxiao and other instrumental music with national spirit, aesthetic taste and traditional artistic characteristics.
A piece of Li Bai's "Jiangjinjiu", which uses the pipa to compare the sound of gongs and drums. Zhuo Shengxiang is the composer of this piece. He said that Nanyin was composed according to the music card, and there were also new ideas in this song. "Li Bai is a common cultural label on both sides of the strait, and it must resonate with young people on both sides of the strait."
Zheng Qianyun, a famous guzheng master in Fujian, led the zheng orchestra of Fujian Vocational College of Arts, and performed "Linjiang Regret" based on the traditional piece "Red River". The finale of "A Hundred Birds Returning to Their Nest", one of the four famous Nanyin songs, featured Zhuo Shengxiang playing the pipa, Lin Sumei stroking the dongxiao, and Luo Chunzhen playing the clapper, simulating the singing of a hundred birds, making it noisy and prosperous for a while.
"We express our aspirations with joy, and birds return to their nests to represent wanderers' homesickness. For overseas wanderers, this is an eternal theme." Lin Sumei, who was born in Malaysia and grew up in Taiwan, said that Nanyin is a traditional rural accent. meaningful too."
As the first home for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises to land on the mainland, Fujian has taken the lead in supporting Taiwan compatriots in applying for "intangible cultural heritage" inheritors. At present, a total of 7 "intangible cultural heritage" inheritors from Taiwan have been evaluated.
Xiao Changpei, deputy director of the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said in his speech at the event that he will continue to carry out the selection of "intangible cultural heritage" inheritors for Taiwan compatriots, and expand the scope of evaluation to promote the inheritance and development of Fujian "intangible cultural heritage" projects in Taiwan. development, and further deepen the cultural and tourism exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan.
