The great ceremony is the same as heaven and earth,
Great joy is in harmony with heaven and earth.
A musical pageant integrating tradition and modernity
A Chinese voice worthy of being listened to by the world
The concert of "China Festival" combines Chinese music with traditional festival stories, and uses original folk music repertoire to lead the audience across thousands of years and bring an extraordinary aesthetic enjoyment. This piece is a masterpiece of folk music created by the Central National Orchestra after the classic plays such as Impression of National Music and See National Music Again. It is also a selected work of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's 2020-2021 "Symphony of the Times - China Symphony Music Creation Support Plan".
The concert, led by the "Spring Festival", the starting point of the Chinese Lunar New Year, takes the time as the axis, and selects the typical Chinese traditional festivals - the Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival, the Tomb Sweeping Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Qixi Festival, the Mid Autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival, and the Winter Solstice as the themes. It uses the form of national orchestral concerts to convey the festival connotation and tell Chinese stories well.
Zhao Cong, head of the Central National Orchestra and pipa player, once said, "We hope that more young people will know what the story of our Chinese festivals is. We have been trying all kinds of new forms to tell this story better and more interesting."
The concert was created and organized by Zhao Cong, the head of the delegation. Hao Weiya, Ma Jiuyue, Du Yong, Wang Danhong and other famous composers were invited to jointly create the concert. Ye Feng, the vice president of the Digital Media School of Beijing Film Academy, served as the visual director, and the visual design team of Jilin Academy of Arts, the mascot design team for the 2022 Winter Paralympic Games in Beijing, served as the visual design team.

In the overture bell, with the flowing music, we entered the "Lantern Festival · Lantern Watching". After the happy and full national orchestral music, Master Feng Mantian of Zhongruan brought "Qingming · Chunxiao". With superb skills, he improvised for the audience while playing and recited "Sleeping in Spring" and "Rain in Qingming". Ruan's voice came like a spring breeze
The "Dragon Boat Festival · Dragon Boat Festival" played by plucking music and percussion music reproduced the excitement of the dragon boat race in the loud sound of gongs and drums, while the erhu, flute and band presented the affectionate "Qixi · Meeting". The traditional famous music "Cloud Chasing the Moon" will bring the audience into the Mid Autumn Moon Festival, and the performance of "Chongyang · Companion" on the ancient zither will send the remembrance of "one less person inserted with cornus" between the rolling of the strings, The famous pipa player Zhao Cong's solo "Winter Solstice, Lucky and Long" has a profound meaning.

It supports the charm of Chinese traditional culture,
