Guqin has been around for so long, what changes has he made in shape?

The historical evolution of guqin shape

Guqin is not static in its long history. According to legend, Fuxi made the qin, and the qin at that time only had five strings. In the Zhou Dynasty, King Wen added one string, and King Wu added another string. The addition of strings made the range of the guqin wider. It is generally believed that the Qin emblem gradually appeared in the Qin and Han dynasties, and the appearance of the emblem made it possible to play large overtones, thus enriching the timbre and expressive means of the guqin. So far, the shape of the guqin has been roughly finalized. Later, in the Song Dynasty, the nine-stringed qin appeared again, but it was not able to spread.
