The tube flute has a long history, and it has been circulated among the people as early as the 7th century AD. According to historical records, at the beginning of the Korean Goryeo Dynasty (919-1392 AD), the flute has been used in the "Tangbu" music of court music, and it has been handed down to this day.
After the close cultural exchanges between ancient Korea and the Han Dynasty in the Central Plains, the tube flute came into being.
The pipe body of the tube flute is made of bamboo, and it is advisable to select one to seven sections from the bottom of the bamboo upwards. In the past, hollow wood has also been used more.
