The performance of Yue Opera is based on the drum board and the main Hu. Together with the three major pieces, erhu (here is the chief erhu, often alternated with the main hu), pipa and dixiao, can be combined into the most basic Yue Opera band. Then add the bass, and compare the big mention with the Bei Da, and the big mention is the first.
Increases the breadth of the band's range, making it three-dimensional. Next must be the role of the modern synthesizer, that is, the electronic organ, which is simply open and omnipotent. (But there are limitations, otherwise the band would be fine with 20 synthesizers, what is the use of other instruments) Percussion 1-2 people are indispensable, otherwise the gongs and drums will not be able to play.
Of course, players of the other instruments above can be used concurrently. Then came the second stage. No matter what instrument is added at this stage, it is used to add color and thickness. For example, add Yangqin or Zhongruan for plucked instruments, add Zhonghu or Gaohu for string pulling, and add Sheng or Suona for blowpipe (both of which can be used concurrently). This has a lot to do with the actual situation of each troupe, and there is nothing impossible. The composition and orchestration of the band will write music according to the actual situation.
The opera band exists to satisfy the opera. It is fundamentally different from a regular folk orchestra. Handy in opera, such as Liushuixiaoban (the folk orchestra may not understand what this is), but if you take a folk music concerto, the head of the opera orchestra will be big. (Only for most Chinese opera troupes)
