Recently, the second Pipa Society Conference of Yunnan Musicians Association was held in Kunming Theater. After the meeting, two consecutive days of "music craftsmen come to co-education cloud music" expert exchange lectures began.

At the meeting, Wu Yuxia, president of the Pipa Society of Chinese Musicians Association, thanked the outstanding practitioners who took root in Yunnan and developed the pipa career. She said that both professional players and amateur music lovers should shoulder the responsibility of carrying forward the pipa culture, inheriting the excellent Chinese culture, telling Chinese stories well, and calling on everyone to strengthen their cultural confidence.

As a large ethnic province, Yunnan has rich ethnic music cultural resources, a long history and far-reaching influence. Many pipa music is created based on the music of Yunnan ethnic minorities. Chen Yin, president of the Pipa Professional Committee of the Chinese National Orchestra Society, stressed that the society, as a professional organization of the pipa in Yunnan province, should play a functional role and unite the majority of pipa workers to contribute to the prosperity and development of the pipa cause.

It is reported that since its establishment in 2019, the Yunnan Provincial Musicians Association Pipa Society has held a series of activities in the Yunnan Competition area of the 2021-2023 Chinese Music Small Golden Bell National Pipa Exhibition, of which more than 150 people participated in this year's activities. As the number of participants increases year by year, it can be seen that the public's acceptance of national culture is gradually improving, and more and more people begin to pay attention to and love traditional culture. The first Pipa Culture and Art Week activity demonstrated the level of pipa performance and creation in Yunnan province, and played a positive role in promoting Yunnan national music culture.

After the meeting, two consecutive days of "music craftsmen visit, co-education cloud sound" expert exchange lectures began. Wu Yuxia, Chen Yin, Fan Wei, Zhang Yikun and other pipa masters combined their many years of pipa playing experience and pipa music creation, and imparts pipa playing skills to students who are studying the art road, injecting fresh academic strength into this national art city. At the lecture site, the masters explained and guided the students from body posture to performance skills. Pipa makers from Suzhou Chongshan Musical Instrument Factory and Chu Yun Yinchao Traditional music instruments also shared with the students about the shape, structure and maintenance of pipa and other practical content.

In addition, as the conclusion of the first series of activities of "Colorful Clouds · Flower rhyme" Pipa culture and art Week, the "Flower rhyme and Cloud Sound, a total of Spring City" pipa teachers and students concert was staged in Kunming Theater on October 4, with two days of learning harvest for the people of Spring City presented a music festival.
