Guqin, a traditional Chinese plucked instrument with a history of more than 3,000 years, is also the first of the four arts and truly the light of national music. Guqin is also a Chinese folk musical instrument included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Literati and scholars of all ages have always used the piano as a good instrument for cultivating one's mind. On the evening of November 5th, in Hangzhou Dongpo Grand Theatre by the West Lake, the melody of the harp was melodious and curling, and a "Bright moon and refreshing breeze" concert by famous guqin artist Song Qin was staged.

The concert featured a magnificent line-up of artists, including Liu Shanjiao, Pei Jinbao, Cheng Hongyu, Zhang Zisheng, Ma Weiheng, Dai Ru, Ma Jie, Wu Mingtao, Xu Junyue, Liu Yu and Zhu Jiangang (in order of appearance), who presented a feast of guqin that spans thousands of years. Amazingly, the artists played real guqin live. For example, Song Dongpo · Shutong · Xu Yuanbai used to collect this guqin named "Shutong" in the fourth year of Yuan You in the Northern Song Dynasty. When Mr. Su Dongpo came to Hangzhou for the second time, he supervised the production in Brahma Temple. Zhongni style, face Tong bottom catalpa, Jin Hui jade, red sandalwood fittings, harp head inlaid cicada shape and Tian jade. The whole body is more delicate broken lines, mainly broken snake belly. Qin style follows the characteristics of Tang Yuan and Song flat, very flat. The shoulders and tongue are distinctly period. Mr. Xu Yuanbai, who collects this instrument, often lets everyone appreciate and play together in the West Lake Yuehui Elegant collection. In addition, there are the Song Dynasty Jiuxiao ring Peiqin collected by Mr. Liu Shanjiao. Xiaoxiang Night Rain Piano of Song Dynasty collected by Mr. Ma Yizhao; Ma Weiheng's Songyin Jade Sold-out Piano of the Ming Dynasty; Mr. Wu Mingtao's collection of late Tang Jade Linglong Qin; The banana-leaf guitar of Zhu Gong Wang in Ming Dynasty collected by Mr. Pei Jinbao. The audience can hear the same heavenly sounds as the ancients, it is really a wonderful musical journey. The concert was sponsored by the Musicians Association of Zhejiang Province. Mr. Xu Junyue, president of the Guqin Professional Committee of China Musical Instrument Association, representative inheritors of provincial Zhejiang Guqin intangible heritage and president of Xihu Guqin Association, told the reporter that he hoped to reproduce the cultural atmosphere and charm brought by the Song culture in the artistic atmosphere of this concert, and also hoped to carry forward and inherit Zhejiang Guqin through such music. The spirit of Zhejiang School Guqin is embodied in compatibility and order, tolerance, and patriotism to the motherland. We also hope to improve our musical literacy through Guqin performance and performance, and make a small contribution to the construction of today's harmonious society.
