Zhucheng is the birthplace of Chinese Guqin. The "Zhucheng School Guqin" integrates the ancient and the present and is unique. It has been included in the list of world intangible cultural heritage protection projects. The Zhucheng Cultural Center has been announced as the "Zhucheng School Guqin" project protection unit.
In order to better inherit the art of guqin and create the cultural capital of East Asia, Zhucheng Cultural Center and Zhucheng Guqin Association will jointly hold a public guqin class for minors during the summer vacation of 2022. Now 20 students are enrolled in the city to learn the history of guqin. and development, basic fingering of guqin playing, introductory guqin ditties, overtone exercises, etc., to cultivate children's love for guqin art, so that this artistic soul treasure can be better inherited and developed.
