The Balaman used in professional literary and artistic groups in the Uyghur region is mostly made of wooden or bamboo pipes, and has been replaced by a suona whistle, whose pitch can be adjusted at any time. There are six or seven circular sound holes on the front of the pipe body. Similar to other folk instruments, it is extremely convenient for band ensembles.
