Bamboo Solo String

The body of the piano is made of a thick bamboo tube with a length of 100 cm and a diameter of 12 cm to 16 cm. The bamboo tube is erected on the ground, and 2/5 of the bamboo pattern is split, and the remaining half of the bamboo tube can be used as the body of the piano. . Remove the bamboo joints, with the split side facing down, drill a small hole for stringing at 10 cm from the right end of the piano surface, set up a bamboo bridge on the inside, and place a wooden peg at the bottom of the piano surface, 4 cm from the left end of the piano surface. Drill a 0.5cm diameter through hole and insert the bamboo rocker. The upper end of the rocker is bent to the left and is bow-shaped, and the lower end passes through a resonance tube made of a small gourd that is placed horizontally and bottomed out. The left end of the strings is tied to the rocker through the resonance tube, the strings are about 6 cm away from the piano surface, and the right end passes through the string hole and is wound on the peg at the bottom of the piano. The body is made up of top, bottom and frame plates glued together. The appearance is in the shape of an irregular rectangular box. The wide end of the piano surface is the head, and the narrow end of the piano surface is the tail. The rocker is generally made of bamboo, but also made of horn or ivory. The lower part of the rocker is equipped with a resonator tube. The tube is a small gourd with a cross section and is in the shape of a trumpet. It can not only play the role of sound resonance, but also can be used as a decoration. The lower end of the rocker is inserted directly into the center of the piano tail .

The strings are made of steel strings or nylon-wound steel strings. The right end presses the bridge, passes through the string hole on the face, and is wound on the peg in the head, and the left end is tied to the lower part of the rocker through the gourd mouth.
